About the event

We invite you to kick off Sunday with energizing, active Osho meditation. The practice will be led by teacher Brigita Račkovskytė, who lives in Sri Lanka and came back to Lithuania to share her experience with us. The class will be held in English.

What is the effect of Dynamic meditation?

This meditation has a huge therapeutic effect by helping to release traumas and blocks from physical, mental, emotional and subtle bodies. Many people struggle to allow themselves to go through this process in full depth because they believe they have nothing to release, but by going through this human experience and being part of the society inevitably we accumulate a lot of unexpressed emotional and psychological baggage, frustrations, stress and so on. Remember, you can only go as deep as you allow yourself to.

This is an intense and thorough experience through which we’re able to break old & ingrained patterns within our body & mind, release our conditioning and let go of the past. Create space to experience the present moment with complete awareness, experience the freedom and peace, the witnessing.

As Osho explains, the point of this meditation is to “remain a witness. Don’t get lost. It is easy to get lost. Breathe as fast, as deep as possible, bring your total energy to it, but still remain a witness. Observe what is happening as if you are just a spectator, as if the whole thing is happening to somebody else, as if the whole thing is happening in the body and the consciousness is just centered and looking. This witnessing has to be carried in all the three steps. And when everything stops, and in the fourth step you have become completely inactive, frozen, then this alertness will come to its peak.”

When is the best time to do it?

Dynamic active meditation is done first thing in the morning, when nature is becoming alive, the sun is coming up and everything is becoming conscious and alert.

How to do it?

The meditation lasts 1 hour and has 5 stages. Each stage has different music and different actions with a certain focus:

1st stage - BREATHE CHAOTICALLY

Breathe fast and chaotically through the nose without any rhythm and without any control.

2nd stage - GO MAD

Let go of everything that need to be let out. Allow your body to express itself in any way needed: scream, shout, cry, jump, shake, kick, punch, laugh, talk gibberish etc. Don’t hold back.

3rd stage - JUMP

Exhaust yourself by jumping with arms up and shouting “hoo” with each exhale.

4th stage - FREEZE

Stop the jumping and freeze in whatever position you find yourself. Be a witness to everything that’s happening to you.

5th stage - DANCE

Express yourself through dancing and celebrating life.

Everyone is welcome to join this unique practice - no experience required!
